3. Use of AI and Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to power core NestEdge features:

A. OpenAI (AI Features)

• AI-generated suggestions are powered by OpenAI's language models. Any content you input into the AI assistant may be sent to OpenAI's API for processing.
• We have disabled data sharing for model training purposes, meaning your data is not used to train OpenAI's models.
• We have disabled sharing of inputs and outputs in our OpenAI API configuration to provide an additional layer of privacy.
• AI outputs are informational and should not be considered legal, financial, or strategic advice.

B. Google Calendar (Calendar Integration)

We offer integration with Google Calendar to help you manage appointments and schedule events. When you connect your Google Calendar:

• We request limited access to read and write calendar events
• We sync appointment data between NestEdge and your Google Calendar
• We do not access other Google services or data beyond calendar functionality
• We do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data with any third parties except as required to provide our services (such as our hosting providers)
• We do not retain or use Google user data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models
• Google user data is only used for the explicit purpose of calendar synchronization and appointment management within NestEdge

C. SendGrid (Email Notifications)

Used to deliver system notifications, account updates, and optionally, contact-related reminders.

D. Twilio (Text Messaging)

Used to send SMS alerts and communications initiated through NestEdge. You are responsible for ensuring your recipients have consented to receive messages.

E. Cloudflare R2 (Image Storage)

Used for storing optional profile images or contact avatars.

F. Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

We integrate with Meta platforms to enable automated lead generation through:

• Automated messaging bots that can interact with potential leads on your behalf
• Lead capture from Meta platforms into your NestEdge workspace
• Conversation management through our AI-powered response system
• Optional ad campaign integration for lead generation

When you enable this feature, you grant us permission to act as your agent in these communications. You remain responsible for ensuring that automated messages comply with all applicable laws and Meta's terms of service.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies and comply with industry-standard security practices.

4. Data Ownership & Control

• You retain ownership of all data you input into NestEdge, including client information and uploaded content.
• You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting [email protected].

5. Security

We use encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Your account is protected by Auth0, which provides secure authentication and identity management.

6. Cookies & Analytics

NestEdge may use cookies and analytics tools to:

• Maintain login sessions
• Track product usage for improvement
• Understand traffic and platform performance

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7. Communications & Messaging

If you enable messaging features:

• You are responsible for the content of your messages
• You must comply with local laws (e.g., TCPA, CAN-SPAM)
• We provide opt-out functionality where required

8. Children's Privacy

NestEdge is intended for professional use only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old.

9. International Use

NestEdge is hosted in the United States. By using the platform from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to U.S.-based servers.
